As there seem to be a number of interesting stories about me circulating already, please allow me to set the record straight. When I received the ballot, after 10:00 PM (I work a 1:30-9:30PM or 2:00-10:00PM shift, depending on CNN's programming) on Monday the 15th, I immediately called Honest Ballot and spoke with Linda Gibbs regarding the fact that my nomination, sent on June 8th, was not included. She confirmed that they had received it, and she would look after this error.
I am not the kind of person to circulate emails I receive for public consumption; that's not my style. However, on the rare occasion I may use my own emails to enlighten those who conjecture without basis. Such as in this case.
The following is the email I sent to Linda Gibbs shortly after we concluded our phone call.
First thing Tuesday, June 16, I spoke with Artie, asking him directly to contact the Board so they were aware of the situation as well. I received a call before I left for work that afternoon, and met with a member of the board, explaining my situation. I advocated for my position at my own whim. By my rights as an owner, I should have been included on the ballot.
Feel free to reconstruct the timeline.

I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings by being my own advocate, but I had done all the requisite work and due diligence. I think anyone would have done the same in my position. I am not here as a spoiler, but as a true advocate for the building and the combined interests of all owners.
